The Calmbirth Workshops are held over one day, with a follow-up session, on a mutually suitable date. The labour preparation is booked separately and usually runs from 36 to 40 weeks.
With extensive experience as a Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist, Childbirth Educator, Doula and Buteyko Breath Trainer, Melinda will take you on a guided and interactive workshop journey to enhance your knowledge and ready you and your partner for the birth of your baby. Followed by personal consultations using breathwork and acupuncture for labour preparation closer to your expected due date.

The 7-Treatment Labour Preparation Package component is all about helping you prepare for your baby’s birth and working with techniques taught in your Calmbirth class. The cost of this is normally $1710.00; purchasing as a package is $1624.00
Your first consult at 36 weeks, is a general intake session, taking in all your medical history and birth preferences; all acupuncture appointments are for 1 hour.
Any treatments not taken up in this period will be allocated for postnatal care.
